How does ampulse work?

A Polar Loop band records your nights and days; ampulse banks them on your iPhone — the raw beat intervals and its own reading of them. A chest strap turns training into measurement: live DFA α1, thresholds from your own ramp tests, smart trainers under automatic control.

A night is missing?

The band finalizes a night when sleep recording stops — a morning sync inside ampulse gives it that signal, and the night appears in seconds. Open the app, tap the sync ring, wait for the checkmark. A sync that heard every stream reports itself complete; anything else stays on the band and comes over with the next connect.

The strap shows no α1?

α1 needs clean beat-to-beat intervals, which is chest-strap territory. A wrist band carries the pulse for the session; the α1 lane fills as soon as a strap such as the Polar H10 is connected.

Does it work with Garmin HRM or CooSpo straps?

Any strap that sends raw beat-to-beat intervals over standard Bluetooth works. From Garmin that means the Bluetooth-capable models — HRM-Dual, HRM-Pro and Pro Plus, HRM-Fit, HRM 600. The older HRM-Run, HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim speak ANT+ only and stay invisible to an iPhone. From CooSpo, the chest straps (H6, H808S); Wahoo TICKR works too. Optical armbands carry a pulse but skip the beat-to-beat detail that α1 needs. The DFA α1 thresholds themselves are validated against the Polar H10, the reference strap in the research; ampulse shows the signal quality of every window, so you can see what your strap delivers.

How do I cancel the subscription?

Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → ampulse. Apple handles all billing; cancelling stops the next renewal immediately, and everything already banked stays on your phone.
